Beautiful and imposing original lithograph by Claude Weisbuch, signed in pencil by the artist and numbered from a print run of 160 copies.
Inspired by Rembrandt's famous Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Tulp, this composition illustrates the expressive world of Claude Weisbuch, a French painter and engraver renowned for the virtuosity of his drawing.
The characters come to life through a remarkable interplay of lines, curves, and movements. The brown and black tones, the depth of the shadows, and the energy of the gestures lend the whole a great intensity.
