Corneille - Petite Scène d'Été III

Original, hand-signed screen print by Corneille (1922–2010), titled 'Petite Scène d'Été III', from 1991. It is an artist's proof (Épreuve d'Artiste), numbered EA 12/25, with the original pencil signature 'Corneille '91' in the lower right corner. A colorful, expressive work depicting a woman and a cat, executed in the characteristic style of Corneille, co-founder of the Cobra movement. The work was purchased in April 2013 during an exhibition at Slot Zeist for €550. The original purchase documentation is present. Professionally and conservation-framed using acid-free BARTH products, including an acid-free mat and an acid-free backing. The original BARTH conservation certificate from January 2013 is located on the back. The work is in very good optical condition. The paper is still bright white, without visible yellowing, and the colors are vibrant and fresh. It has never been hung in direct sunlight. Screen print dimensions according to proof of purchase: 30 × 40 cm. Includes original frame, conservation certificate, and purchase documentation. Preferably pick up due to the size and fragility of the framed screen print.
