Eef van Brakel (1930–2014) – colorful landscape – framed
Expressive painting by Eef van Brakel featuring a winding country lane between trees.
Painted in vibrant green, pink, purple, and ochre yellow tones, with visible brushstrokes and thick layers of paint in places. The work is painted on canvas, signed in the lower left corner, and framed in a white frame. Dimensions including frame: 65 × 85 cm.
Eef van Brakel was a Dutch painter from Driel who lived in Oosterbeek for a long time. His landscapes are characterized by a free, expressionistic painting style and pronounced use of color. On the back of the canvas there is a repair patch, presumably due to previously repaired damage. However, it is not visible from the front.
The frame shows light signs of use. See the photos for the condition.
