Egbertus Antonie Jansen was born on February 2, 1877, in Kralingen, Rotterdam. During a holiday, Egbertus died on July 5, 1957, at the age of eighty in Mannheim. (BRD) Jansen attended the Academy of Fine Arts and Technical Sciences in Rotterdam.
Jansen was a drawing teacher at the vocational school in Tiel from 1899 to 1913.
