Frans Bianchi - Screen print, untitled.

According to Frans Bianchi, the secret of art lies in dualism. You can translate this into color, but also into the drawing of a line. This is reflected in the style of Bianchi’s work: they appear to be fleetingly drawn lines that, although placed perspectivally, are never taut or straight. They dance across the canvas, in a precarious coherence. The colors connect, speak, and contrast. It was not only his encounters with Jason Berger that inspired Frans Bianchi. His unconventional and exciting past also makes his expressions on canvas what they are. Encounters and confrontations are inextricably linked in Bianchi’s personality and life. This dualism, too, determines the individuality and style of a true “Bianchi”.
