Large, atmospheric winter landscape by the Dutch painter Frans de Kok. The work depicts a vast, snow-covered farmland landscape with a row of trees on the horizon and an imposing, cloud-filled sky. Executed in a loose, impressionistic painting style with broad, visible brushstrokes and a subdued color palette of blue, gray, white, and earth tones. The painting is signed 'Frans de Kok' in the lower right corner and dated 1999. The work is fitted with a matching wide, gold-colored frame. The painting is in good condition, with normal signs of age and use on both the work and the frame.
