Gerard Lutz was an outdoor draftsman.
He drew his inspiration from nature and sketched what he saw, to develop it further at home in the evening. From 1971 onwards, he could often be found in the dune area of The Hague for this purpose.
This is a pencil-drawn dune landscape in the vicinity of Wassenaar.
The work is signed G Lutz in the lower right corner and dated 29/8 1075.
