A beautiful and atmospheric canvas by the well-known Dutch artist Gerard van Iersel (Eindhoven, 1934)
This powerful work is executed in a layered, abstract style, in a harmonious palette of warm earth tones and characteristic dark lines and structures. Your eye is immediately drawn to the light entering from the window in the upper right. The painting has a strong texture and a monumental appearance.
The painting is in good, original condition with beautiful, deep, vibrant colors. However, there is a very small hole in the canvas. (see detail photos 3 and 4) When the canvas is hanging on the wall, you do not see it, only when you hold it up to the light.
