This original oil painting by Gerardus Johannes (GJ) Ernens, with a canvas size of 50x70 cm, is one of his most common and sought-after sizes. It depicts a classic Dutch landscape with a fisherman or boatman in a sloop near a thatched small farmhouse, painted in his characteristic palette knife technique. The condition of the work: Both the canvas (the back is beautifully clean and tightly stretched) and the substantial, high-quality wooden frame are in very good condition. The painting and frame are in very beautiful and pristine condition.
