A stunning, authentic vintage Art Deco / Mid-Century Modern liqueur set from the renowned Belgian glass factory Glaskokerij De Rupel (Booms Glas) from Boom, Belgium.
The set presumably dates from the period between the 1920s and 1950s and was designed under the artistic direction of the legendary Czech designer Paul Heller.
The set consists of an elegant decanter with the original, fully gilded glass stopper and the matching goblet-shaped liqueur glasses.
Features and details:
• Material: Hand-blown semi-crystal / glass.
• Finish: Iconic light green satin-finished 'sugar glass' with a beautiful granular texture, decorated with refined, hand-painted gold bands and borders.
• Authenticity: Particularly special is the handwritten studio mark (the letter "A" / the number "4") on the underside of the glassware. This is the authentic mark of the decorator/goldsmith from the factory in Boom.
• Condition: In very good, vintage condition. The goldwork is beautifully preserved and the glass is completely free of chips or cracks (see photos).
