A very recognizable bronze figurine on a black hardstone pedestal.
The figurine was made by the Brabant artist Hans van Eerd.
The figurine may be related to science and education, given the book with an apple on it.
His monogram HvE is on the book next to the apple.
This figurine might be a unique piece. Does anyone know?
I see that the small base has been repaired at 2 corners.
