Harrie Sijbers – Amazed Birds Oil on canvas, 90 × 90 cm. A playful and expressive painting in which stylized birds appear against a powerful red background. With their large, wondering eyes and powerful, simplified forms, the figures radiate humor, character, and individuality. Contrasting accents of blue, yellow, green, and orange create a lively rhythm and reinforce the spontaneous and cheerful character of the work. The clear contours and childlike directness give the painting an imaginative appearance, while the dynamic composition captures a moment of curious interaction. Amazed Birds celebrates imagination, color, and the expressive freedom of abstraction.
