Herman Brood's life was a whirlwind of creativity, rebellion, and color. As a musician and painter, he lived without restraint, driven by pure expression. His art—full of bright hues and raw lines—was just as direct and unpolished as he was.
Between fame and chaos, Brood remained true to his own style and freedom. He turned his life into a work of art in itself: intense, unpredictable, and unforgettable.
Screen print by Herman Brood, artist Family Affair, 1994 Amsterdam, from a private estate collection, therefore EA edition no. 12/50, very exclusive to the friends of Herman.
The screen print is hand-signed by Herman Brood, dated, EA 12/50 Epreuve D,artiste, artist proof work.
The artwork can be picked up in Haarlem. Due to the size and fragility of the glass plate, shipping is only possible via our delivery service. Costs within the Netherlands are subject to agreement (with the exception of the Wadden Islands). I can arrange for the artwork to be delivered, and you will receive exactly what you see in the photo. Shipping via the regular postal service is too risky.

| Beautiful screen print, ready to hang on the wall. Light signs of use, a few spots at the top of the black wooden frame, not immediately noticeable (see photos). Unique small edition no. 12/50. The later edition from the art dealer was 250 copies. Screen print from 1994; the paper ripples slightly at the top and bottom, easily remedied due to age. The colors are fresh and beautiful, with a well-maintained impression (see photos). | |||||||||||
