Herman Brood's 'Red Stripe Club' screen print is a lively and expressive artwork in which energy, rhythm, and urban atmosphere come together.
The title 'Red Stripe Club' evokes associations with music and nightlife. As is often the case in Herman Brood's work, the title does not constitute a literal description of the image, but rather enhances the experience and leaves room for personal interpretation. This tension between title and image gives the work extra depth.
The screen print was released in a limited edition at the time and is personally signed by Herman Brood.
