Ineke Watzema-Andriesse (1929-2003) was a Dutch graphic artist and artist. The current work is presumably executed in the oil painting technique on a hard carrier (although the work has not been removed from the frame to be sure). Watzema-Andriesse uses a monochrome palette and a coarse but accurate brushstroke to create a series of abstracted ghostly figures next to each other. The work is signed 'Ineke Watzema/ Andriesse' (bottom right). The performance is neatly framed behind glass, ready to hang.
