Jan Hoedemakers - Still life with

Jan Hoedemakers (1949) is a Brabander through and through. He trained for a long time with several well-known Dutch painters. Hoedemakers often paints with oil on panel. He uses old painting techniques for his works. His interest is in making realistic still lifes in which a lot of attention is paid to the composition, design and lighting of the (old) objects. These are each carefully composed with alternating light and dark surfaces. He has an eye for detail. His works were successfully exhibited at various galleries and Art Days in the Netherlands. There is also a lot of interest in his works internationally. Works have now been sold in Germany, France, Portugal, Italy and Spain.
