This work is part of the "Wadden Series": six prints in the same color palette: dark and light blue, green, and brown. The rising and receding horizon of the blocks, the color scheme where sky, water, and ground converge: with a few simple means, Loman captures the Wadden Sea experience. In this series, he owes most to the tradition of De Stijl, such as Van der Leck and Van Doesburg.
