Dark pen drawing by Van Campenhout, clearly inspired by the woodcut by Felix Vallotton from 1892. Signed in pen in the lower left "J. van Campenhout". On the reverse, in pencil handwriting, this painter is mistakenly confused with Heinrich Campendonk, who taught at the Art Academy in Amsterdam.
