In Van Dolderen's work, everything revolves around forms, colors, and the ultimate arrangement of the abstract elements.
He takes photos of imposing mountains, romantic hotels, subway stations, or manhole covers. He prints the photos in multiple shades using screen printing techniques. He then adds abstract color fields and shapes, creating a new dimension.
