This painting is by the Dutch painter Jurrien Marinus Beek (1879-1965). He was known for his impressionist landscapes, seascapes, still lifes, and cityscapes.
He was born in Arnhem in 1879 and died in The Hague in 1965.
Beek painted in a realistic to impressionistic style. He often signed his works with Jur.M.Beek, as in this painting.
It's beautifully painted, and I'll try to show that clearly in the photos. Unfortunately, there 's also some damage, a small tear in the canvas. I'll take clear photos of that as well.
