Karel Arkema (1901 - 1965)
Very unique poster made by himself for an exhibition of works by himself and ceramics by his wife Henny.
Born in Appingedam, artist Karel Frederik Arkema trained at the Minerva Academy in Groningen. He was a member of De Groninger Ploeg, a group with a distinctive style, but his landscapes still reflect De Ploeg's expressionism.
