The work depicts a dreamy, typically metaphorical scene with two figures (including a clown) at the water's edge. The soft pastel and blue tones in the sky contrast beautifully with the warm colors of the clothing. The fact that the artwork is undamaged and housed in a high-quality, silver-colored frame with a sleek mat makes it a very fine painting.
