Origin: From the estate of Robert Hallatu. Robert Hallatu was editor-in-chief of the well-known monthly magazine Marinjo for almost 30 years. Along with the artist Victor Bouter (1928-2004), he was the driving force behind the gallery "de Heeren van Voorburg" on Herenstraat in Voorburg.
Condition: The watercolor is in very good condition. The wooden frame has some wear.

Linda Groen (1972, Krommeniedijk), painter, draftsman and ceramicist.
Education: She studied Art History at the University of Amsterdam (1991-1996).
Linda Groen's work is rich in symbolism. In her oil paintings, she uses clean lines and vibrant colors to create a magical world where the lines between dream and reality are blurred. Her visual language includes butterfly women, mythical creatures, mythological figures, cats, and cows.
In 2022 her debut novel 'Like three drops of water' was published.
