Don't expect artificially arranged bouquets; a single blooming branch is enough for me, from the bud to the withered leaf. There I find hidden treasures and indulge in dissecting a single flower or leaf shape. The floral patterns and graceful lines offer numerous possibilities for combination and repetition. This results in more abstract compositions full of eroticism and drama. With warm earth tones in transparent layers, the delicate, ephemeral flower comes to life. Paintings It starts with lots of color, and using stencils cut from cardboard, the final image emerges layer by layer. Etchings The zinc plate being printed already has a tone of its own. I add something to that, creating a kind of skin on the paper. The colors are often somewhat smudged and dirty, but I find that particularly beautiful. Textiles The design is drawn by hand, then I screen print the pattern onto the fabric.
