Beautiful work by Marc Cox, who is best known for his bronze sculptures in public spaces, such as the seated couple in the main square of Hasselt. However, he is also a passionate draftsman. This is a typical work for Cox, with sharp lines and soft coloring. The drawing depicts an intimate scene. But that seems about to change quickly! The paper bears a unicorn as a watermark.
