For Literacy Day, Marnix Peeters wrote a unique story by hand. In other words, it is the only one of its kind and for the time being the only copy. It is therefore the original that is being auctioned and is also signed.
The proceeds from the auction will go to Ligo, Centers for Basic Education. An organization that is committed to combating low literacy. For example, 15% of Flanders still has low literacy and Marnix Peeters wants to work towards this.
This story was written to put the spotlight on low literacy problems in Flanders.
