Een oude ets van een voor ons onbekende kunstenaar met een voorstelling van een markt voor het Stadhuis van Venlo (Limburg).
-Gesigneerd met potlood rechtsonder (J. Man.....?) en ingelijst in de originele houten lijst met passe-partout en glasplaat.
-Oplage onbekend. Linksonder met potlood genummerd (no 22).
-Afmetingen: Lijst, 48 x 34 cm. Beeld, 31 x 21,5 cm.
-Herkomst: Uit de inboedel van een verzamelaar van grafiek.
-Conditie: De ets is in zeer goede staat. Het passe-partout heeft zuurvlekjes. De lijst heeft slijtplekjes.

Het stadhuis van Venlo is een vrijstaand stadhuis in renaissancestijl. Het ligt aan het centrale plein, de Markt, (vroeger ook wel Het Cruys geheten).
