A beautiful and atmospheric landscape by the Belgian painter Piet Mees . The painting depicts a vast landscape with farmhouses, pollard willows, and a canal. The composition is dominated by an impressive cloudy sky in which dark cloud formations are beautifully broken up by warm, golden light. The light reflects beautifully in the water in the foreground. This work has a strong, almost cinematic appeal and is a real eye-catcher.
