Rijk van Lavieren (Tiel, March 26, 1889 – Delft, April 10, 1952) was a versatile Dutch visual artist, active as a painter, draftsman, muralist, glass painter, woodcutter and graphic artist. This is an old woodcut, signed and numbered(30). However, there was indeed a grain mill in Oudewater, but it was called 'De Hoop' and it disappeared in 1924. And Oudewater is not located on the Waal, so there is some confusion regarding the actual name and location. The frame has been damaged but remains around it to simplify shipping.
