Mixed-media painting by the Dutch artist Sjaak Korsten (Helden, 1957). As a visual artist, he creates paintings, works on paper, objects, photographs, and installations. His works are poetic, intimate, and personal. Everyday objects and situations are isolated and placed in a different context so that they acquire a deeper poetic value.
