A beautiful, serene landscape by the renowned Dutch watercolorist Sjoerdtje Mulder-Hak (born in Lemmer, 1945). The work is fully signed and dated in the lower left corner (Mulder-Hak '86). This work is a beautiful example of her distinctive style. With a minimalist composition and an extremely subtle palette of soft grey, brown, and earth tones, she manages to create a serene, misty atmosphere. The vastness of the typical Dutch landscape, combined with the characteristic bare trees and the wooden fence in the foreground, makes for a timeless and soothing work of art.
