Very cool fine art print by Super A! Issued in a limited edition of 75. Dimensions are 80x60 cm. Hand-signed and numbered! Includes certificate. New in original box.
Dutch artist Stefan Thelen, better known by his moniker Super A, never falls short of baffling the spectator with his highly metaphoric scenarios, rendered in a supreme (hyper)realistic style. He blends urban methods, graphic design and traditional painting techniques, to give life to work that evolves out of his personal experiences and thoughts. His pictorial stories seem to exist in a balance between fiction and non-fiction as Thelen's topics are a result of his amazement with rarities in our world, filtered through the view of the mysterious Super A. Often his works resemble a Pandora's box, giving rise to an endlessly detailed flood of visual references. While most of his paintings are of a dreamy-surreal atmosphere, they may also communicate a subtle, but nevertheless harsh critique of world politics. Banksy, Herman Brood, street art, roa, collin van der sluijs, street art, Disney.
