The painting depicts a still life with a coffee pot and a cup, executed in warm red, brown, and ochre tones. The artist was inspired by the traditional costume of Spakenburg.
The details are recorded on the back of the canvas by the artist, including the signature.
A certificate of authenticity is present.

| Condition | Very good |
| The painting is in very good condition. The canvas is well intact and shows, as far as visible, no damage, tears, or peeling paint. There are also no visible signs of restoration. The colors have been beautifully preserved. The painting was purchased directly from the artist. The painting has been in my possession for 28 years and has always hung indoors. Due to a move, I now lack space and must sell it with a heavy heart. | |
