Willem Visser studied at the Rotterdam Academy from 1974 to 1979. He regularly exhibited landscapes and cityscapes in the Netherlands and Belgium. His work is held in private and public collections both in the Netherlands and abroad.
The landscape and forest views in particular are his sources of inspiration.
He says of this work: "When you look at the rapeseed growing on the banks of a ditch, you initially experience it as a single, vibrant yellow surface. Only upon closer inspection do you begin to distinguish individual plants. I wasn't interested in the details, but in the splendor of spring's colors."
