BANGHOLM Keramik (Skødstrup 1948 - Ebeltoft 2017)

Bangholm Keramik, founded in 1948 in Skødstrup near Aarhus, produced household and utility ceramics—vases, bowls, dishes, and jugs—for everyday use. In the 1950s and 1960s, Bangholm ceramics were primarily recognizable by their colorful, often striped fajance glazes on terracotta. Later (after 1969), the workshop was taken over by potter Iben Scott Lundby, after which production evolved towards unique, handmade pieces. Objects were typically marked "Bangholm" or "Bangholm Denmark."
