Christina Stoel (1859-1908)
Christina CHAIR (Haarlem 1859 - Bloemendaal 1908)
She studied at the Rijks-Academie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam under August Allebe (1838-1927) together with, among others, Richard Roland Holst. She was especially known in Haarlem and the surrounding area for her lively portraits of prominent figures in Haarlem. She exhibited at, among others, Kunsthandel Wisselingh at the Rokin in Amsterdam. Died in Bloemendaal in 1908.
