Jan GABRHEL (Vysoké Mýto 1930 – České Budějovice 2017)
Jan Gabrhel received his training at the glassmaking school in Železný Brod. From 1957, he was associated as a designer with the Český křišťál glass factory in Chlum u Třeboně, where he remained employed for more than forty years. He designed a large number of series of functional and decorative glass, including vases, bowls, and drinking sets. In addition, he created independent works and monumental glass art for public buildings.
