Led Brand is a draftsman and painter. His work consists primarily of pencil drawings, alongside gouaches and oil paintings. The changing cityscape of Dordrecht forms an important subject. He draws, among other things, construction sites, demolition work, and buildings that are disappearing or being replaced. In addition, he creates still lifes and drawings of landscapes he visits during his travels. His gouaches are often created based on drawings made earlier. He is a member of the Teekengenootschap Pictura in Dordrecht and has his studio in the building of this artists' association.
