Monika Mulder is a Dutch product and industrial designer who completed her studies at the Design Academy Eindhoven (1992-1997) and subsequently ended up in Sweden through an internship at IKEA, which led to a long-standing career as a designer with that company. Since 2007, she has worked as an independent designer from her studio in Gothenburg, Sweden, where she develops product designs for various international brands, focusing on functional, playful, and aesthetically pleasing solutions for everyday objects. Her designs have received awards such as Best Swedish Design and Best Furniture of the Year and have been published and exhibited in international design books and exhibitions.
