Siegfried GORINSKAT (Eydtkuhnen 1938 – Margraten 2006)
Siegfried Gorinskat was a ceramist. He primarily produced unique ceramic sculptures and objects. His work evolved from figurative forms to more abstract sculptures, in which contrasts between smooth and rough surfaces formed an important starting point. He worked extensively with slab construction and combined various surface treatments, including polished and highly textured sections. From the early 2000s, his objects became increasingly abstract in character.
