AJ Barnes (USA, 1962) received a Master of Arts Degree from Ohio University in 1989 after completing an arts education at Wayne State University in 1985. He is a former editorial photographer who produced much of his personal work on Polaroid instant film. With the demise of the Polaroid corporation in 2004 he began working with the wet collodion process, an antique glass plate photographic process invented in 1851.
