Opleiding: Academie de Schans; V.L.V.U. tweede graad tekenen en textiel.
Van 1967 tot 1985 werkzaam als lerares tekenen en kunstgeschiedenis op middelbare school.
Galeriehoudster van Het Kunsthuis Oudeschans.
Woont en werkt afwisselend in Oudeschans (Groningen), Alentejo (Portugal) en de Bourgogne (Frankrijk).
Onderwerpen: tot 1996 vooral sportende mensen, daarna musici, modellen, landschappen en bloemen.
Sinds 2008 de flamenco en vanaf 2011 geisha's.
