Cor Fafiani makes mysterious, multi-sensory, perfect and almost metaphysical works of art. He plays with different materials and colors, and yet his art is never purely aesthetic, but a code through which he can communicate his own ideas. In fact, he is simultaneously an artist and a philosopher, and ferments at the very core of the human being, reaching out to our ontological core. Nevertheless, what is most disturbing to the viewer of his works is the absolute lack of answers or points of reference, and all that remains is the doubt, the unresolved problem of existence. That hole can only be filled by art, and that is the only certainty that Cor Fafiani expresses in his work.
