Cyril Lixenberg - Untitled - Sold

This minimalist, abstract work is by the artist Cyril Lixenberg, who strives for minimal means in his oeuvre. He works from basic shapes like the circle, the triangle, and the square, with which he experiments endlessly. These shapes constantly change in function, quality, and context, ensuring his work is never repetitive.


Lixenberg's use of color is often limited to the primary colors red, yellow, and blue, which gives his works a powerful and vibrant appearance. His sculptures also have a strong graphic quality: the geometric, flat shapes are crafted from Corten steel, which he manipulates until a three-dimensional object emerges.

Many of his sculptures can be found in the Flevopolder, where they form an unexpected and striking element within the vast, austere landscape.

Viewing is, of course, possible. We also have our own in-house framing workshop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary. We also employ restorers from the trade association "Restauratoren Nederland" (Dutch Restorers). If you would like to use this service, please let us know.
