Onderwerpen: beweging, de dans, dieren, folkloristische thema`s, mythologie, de natuur en stillevens. Stijl: figuratief en lyrisch abstract. Categorie: boekillustraties, grafiek en illustraties in tijdschriften. Verblijf: Caribische eilanden, Deventer, Haarlem, Zuid-Amerika, Palembang tot 1944 en Amsterdam 1962-1986. Opleiding: Rijksacademie van Beeldende Kunsten Amsterdam en Tropische Landbouwschool te Deventer. Leerling van Henry Boot.
