Dirk W. de Jong is a well-known (music) photographer who has captured BB King very strikingly in this photo. Dirk W. de Jong has been working as a photographer since 1990 and lives in the Amsterdam area. He has been traveling through the United States since 1991. His love for music and photography is unwavering. Along the way, the photographer meets artists, and once back home, the artists join him on his journey. Faces, places, and all that music yield a photo gallery with countless stories. 'Dirk W. de Jong penetrates to the heart and soul, without a romantic angle. He says it like it is. His photos always tell a story and show the world in an earthly way. Just like the music itself!' Herman van der Horst.
