Eduard Flor trained at the Rijksacademie voor Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam. From 1975 to 1985, Flor taught at the Royal Academy in Den Bosch, the Free Academy in The Hague, and the Christian Academy in Kampen. Currently, Eduard Flor lives and works primarily in France. Flor operates more on the intellectual fringe of post-Cobra expressionism. His landscape themes condense abstract and simple forms. Eduard Flor's subjects are very diverse: landscapes, seascapes, portraits, photographs, but also religious works. He also incorporates themes inspired by fragments of travels and experiences. He paints in watercolor and oil and creates etchings. Exhibitions and prizes: Paris Biennale 1959. Consequently, Flor's work is held in international museums, including various museums in the Netherlands: Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Arnhem, and Utrecht.
