Prachtige compositie uit 1972 van Guillaume le Roy. Aquatint ets op dik papier, met potlood gesigneerd, gedateerd en genummerd (48/50). Afkomstig uit de kunstcollectie van ABNAMRO, in goede conditie. Het blad is weliswaar licht verkleurd en aan de bovenkant onregelmatig afgescheurd maar opnieuw ingelijst met een passe-partout is het werk perfect. De ets zelf en de marge eromheen zijn namelijk in uitstekende conditie.
Afmetingen: 68cm x 54cm (blad), 53cm x 44cm (beeld)
Werk kan bij aankoop worden opgehaald in Diemen (vlakbij het kantoor van Kunstveiling in Amsterdam Z-O) of het kan aangetekend en goed verpakt verstuurd worden op kosten van de koper.

Volgens kunstcritici is Le Roy “...de ongeëvenaarde meester van de hoogdruk in vormen waar doorheen het licht sijpelt” , “een koning onder de grafici “,…een echte graficus, verknocht aan de techniek van het kervende mes en bijtende zuren. Het elementaire van die techniek spreekt rechtstreeks uit zijn werk”, "als graficus is er een steeds grotere ontwikkeling naar versobering en onthouding”
