Harrie Gerritz - hand-signed screen print | 'Tower' | 2011

Beautiful and instantly recognizable graphic work by the renowned Dutch painter and graphic artist Harrie Gerritz (Wijchen, 1940). Gerritz trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Arnhem and is known nationally and internationally for his characteristic interpretation of the Dutch river landscape (particularly the Land of Maas and Waal).

This work, titled 'Tower', is a perfect example of his distinctive and stylized visual language. In his abstract compositions, he reduces elements from the landscape—such as church towers, castles, and architectural forms—to powerful, pictogram-like shapes. At the center stands a monumental black tower with abstracted white window planes, flanked by a balanced rhythm of colorful, geometric color planes on either side.

The artwork is in excellent condition and is hand-signed and dated by the artist ('Harrie Gerritz 2011') in the lower left corner. In the lower right corner, it bears the unique edition number 15/250 from this limited edition.
