An expressive Amsterdam cityscape in oil on canvas, depicting moored boats beside a tree-lined quay. Tall canal houses form the backdrop, their warm façades reflected in the gently moving water. Freely applied brushwork and textured paint bring movement to the composition. A vibrant palette of ochre, yellow, soft pink and green gives the scene warmth, while broken reflections animate the foreground.
Presented in a black moulded frame with a gold-toned inner border, which complements the painting’s colours and gives the composition a clear outline.
Condition: Painting in excellent condition. Frame with minor signs of wear.
